A 50-year-old Townsville man was taken to hospital after his Yamaha motorcycle crashed into a pig on the Flinders Highway east of Charters Towers.

The man, riding a Yamaha XZ225, was heading toward Townsville about 13km  out of Charters Towers when he hit the animal as it crossed the road just after 8pm. Read more »
