Ever heard of the BackRider Belt or the Child Riding Belt child riding harnesses?

Has anyone heard (or used) either of these two child riding harnesses?  Both the Backrider belt and the Child riding belt are made in Canada.  The Backrider Belt states that it has been tested according to Baby Car Seat tests by a professional engineering firm although the Child riding belt doesn't say anything with that regard so I'm not sure about testing with that one. Both products seem to be designed to work for children between the ages of 2 up to 10 or 11 (with a max weight of the child not exceeding 100 lbs). Each of these products have a website for them:  Backrider belt:  http://www.riderzragz.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=18&chapter=1 Child riding belt: http://www.childridingbelt.com/ The reason why I'm asking is because my 9 year old (who is big enough to touch the pegs) tends to fall asleep while riding and I can't hold her up and control the bike at the same time and these products look like they would serve the purpose.  The Backrider belt looks more sturdy and would probably be better at holding my daughter upright if she fell asleep but I'm interested in hearing from other riders if they heard of anyone who has tried or heard about either of these products and what they think.  The Backrider belt also says that their waist portion of the belts (for both rider and pillion rider) has a "pliable plastic sheet" inserted into the actaul belt that they say gives better support for keeping the child upright and also better back/kidney support for the rider which sounds good (I especially like the back/kidney support as I have a sore back riding lots of times). Although the Backrider belt is more expensive than the price of the Child riding belt, it looks like the Backrider belt is a much better product (I guess you get what you pay for, and I want the best for my child so I'm thinking more of the Backrider belt). What are your thoughts on these products?

Welcome to Bikes on Show.
Welcome to Bikes on Show. Can't say I've heard of this type of product before but if you decide to buy one, we'd love to hear about your experiences with it. My kids are grown up now but my other half has fallen asleep on the back of the bike a couple of times.

Ever heard of the BackRider Belt or the Child Riding Belt child
I think we're going to get one of the Backrider belts and we'll let you know. The website for the Backrider has a "testimonial" webpage that shows a few of their satisfied customers (pics and comments) that seems to convince us (along with the information the website shows about the product).  Although it seems a little pricey, it's hard to put a price on our child's safety! We'll let you know.... Thanks.
