What are the defects?

Due to a manufacturing defect the timing-chain tensioner is subject to wear. Gradually the timing chain may no longer be adequately tensioned and could slip it’s sprockets, causing the engine to stall.

What are the defects?

It cannot be ruled out that the piston rod of the rear spring strut, in connection with the Dynamic ESA option, could break.

What are the hazards?

If the defect occurs this could cause an accident and potential injury or death of the rider and/or passenger.
