2008 GSXR 1000 Owner Review

Just thought I would share my opinion on the K8 Gixxer Thou, so here goes my ramblings….I mean ‘review’…..

The beginnings….
Ownership of my K8 thousand started the day I highsided my K6 model on the way home from the MotoGP at Philip Island last year. Luckily I was fully insured and Western QBE gave me two options of either new bike replacement or payout figure…….how could I refuse a new bike eh, all there was to do was to pick a colour.

My GS500F review

Having owned my GS for 13 months, I’d like to share my thoughts on this great “starter” bike. At first glance the GS gives the impression of one of Suzuki’s popular sport bike series, of course 50hp isn’t going to rip your arms off, but it’s definitely more then enough for somebody that doesn’t have a motorcycle background. In saying that I was not at all intimidated by the GS when I took it for my first ever ride.
